This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are and how the Vesster website (vesster.com) uses them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
I. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device to make the site work, remember your choices, or measure how it is used. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels) work the same way. You can control cookies through your browser and, where offered, through the site's consent controls.
II. How we use cookies
We keep our use of cookies deliberately minimal, and we group them into three categories in our consent banner.
- Necessary — required for the site to function and stay secure, and always on. These include remembering your language choice (so the site loads in the language you picked) and the security check that protects our forms from abuse (reCAPTCHA). They are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the site, and cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality.
- Statistics — help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it (Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity for aggregated usage insights, with form inputs masked). They run only after you opt in.
- Marketing — let us measure our campaigns and show relevant content and ads (for example the LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads and the Meta pixel). They run only after you opt in.
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of you across unrelated websites, and we do not sell your data.
III. Managing cookies
How we ask depends on where you are. In the EU/EEA and the UK, our banner asks you to accept or reject the non-essential categories first, and nothing in the Statistics or Marketing categories loads before you opt in. In regions with an opt-out model (such as the United States), those cookies may run by default and we give you a clear way to opt out. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where it applies. Either way, we use Google Consent Mode so your choice is respected by our tags. You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, and you can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working, such as the language selection or the contact and resource forms.
